Grupo Julià, a specialized company in global tourism and mobility services, obtained on May 3, 2022, a credit of 38 million euros requested in 2021 for aid to strategic companies managed by the Sociedad Española de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI).
The Fund to Support the Solvency of Strategic Companies, endowed with 10,000 million euros, was constituted in July 2020 as a result of the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in strategic sectors and to provide support to relevant companies and corporations in their respective fields of activity.
The granted public aid was provided through a participative loan of 20 million euros and an ordinary loan of 18 million, both instruments contemplated in the ministerial order of July 23, 2020, which establishes the operation of the fund.
Destination of the funds
The company is using the funds to maintain the activity and current operation in its three lines of business ─incoming tourism, tourist buses, trains, and passenger transport─ as well as to maintain the level of employment and meet the objectives and commitments set out in the ecological transition plan.
