Cookie Policy
EUROWAYS, S.L. (“Julià”) informs you, through this cookie policy (“Cookie Policy”), about the use of data storage and retrieval technology on user terminal devices.
1.- On the use of cookies
Julià uses cookies when a user (“User”) browses the website (“Website”). Cookies are used to ensure the quality, usability and proper operation of websites, as well as to store and retrieve information on your browsing habits, and to customise their content. Cookies can sometimes be used to identify the user of a website.
Cookies make it possible for the Julià website to recognise Users’ browsers. Users have the option to configure them so they are deleted when they leave the website, or so they are not stored on their hard drive. Please refer to the instructions for your usual browser (provided below) for more information.
2.- What are cookies?
Cookies are a small text file that websites send to the browser and are stored on the user’s terminal or device, and that allow data to be stored and retrieved. They can serve multiple purposes: store a User’s browsing preferences, compile statistical information, allow certain technical features, etc. Sometimes, cookies are used to store basic information about a User’s browsing habits or their device.
3.- Types of cookies:
Cookies can be classified into different types, based on different criteria. A cookie can fall under more than one category:
- By the entity that manages them
- First-party cookies, are those that are sent to the user’s terminal from a computer or domain managed by the Website publisher, which provides the service requested by the user.
- Third-party cookies, are those sent to the user’s terminal equipment (from a computer or domain that may or may not be managed by the publisher), by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
- By how long they remain active on the User’s device
- Session cookies, are designed to collect and store data while the user is on a website. The information is only stored during the session, and disappears when the session ends
- Persistent cookies, store the User’s information for a longer period of time, and can be accessed and processed by the entity responsible for the cookie during that period. This period varies according to each cookie and can range from a few minutes to several years.
- By their purpose
- Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide certain services expressly requested by the user, and that can be used to ensure proper browsing or to ensure that the content of a website is loaded efficiently. If disabled, the User may not receive the established services and content correctly (technical cookies).
- Analytical cookies, to monitor and gather statistical data on the activity, such as the number of Users and how long they connect, in order to guarantee the best service to Users, to take measurements and conduct statistical analyses of how the Users use the services offered.
- Cookies publicitarias, para la gestión de los espacios publicitarios que se hayan incluido en la Web en base a criterios como la frecuencia en que se muestran los anuncios.
- Advertising cookies: to manage the advertising spaces that have been inserted into the website based on criteria such as the frequency at which ads are shown.
- Preference or customisation cookies: these cookies store information so a User can access the website while enabling features that can differentiate that User’s experience from that of other Users, such as the appearance or content of the website, which may vary depending on the type of browser used.
4.- Behavioural advertising cookies:
these are used to effectively manage the advertising spaces that may have been inserted into the website. They do so by storing information on the User’s behaviour, which is obtained by continuously monitoring their browsing habits. This is used to develop a specific profile and show advertising based on said profile.

By accepting some of these cookies, data may be transferred internationally to third countries if needed for the operation of the services of Julià’s vendors. The legal basis for this transfer is the User’s consent, expressed by agreeing to the use of the cookies in each specific case. In any event, international data transfers will be made to countries with a suitable level of protection, as declared by the European Commission, and/or on the basis of providing appropriate guarantees, such as standard contractual clauses (Articles 45 and 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation).
