As part of its launch of the new 2018 tourism programme for Europe, Julià Tours recently hosted in Mexico a workshop for that country’s travel agents, with help from the Julià Travel team in Spain and its Italian partner, Carrani Tours. Company management also took advantage of the occasion to present its strategic agreements involving tourism with the Italian company.
The breakfast presentation was led by Edgar Weggelaar, Managing Director of Julià Travel Worldwide, and Martí Sarrate, Managing Director of Julià Tours. Both noted the fine year that Julià Tours Mexico had, as this country became Julià Tours’ second leading source of tourists to Spain.
Also featured was Constanza Galli, of the Latin American Development and Sales staff at Carranin Tours, a company that the Grupo Julià has entered into many strategic agreements with, such as the shared operation of the Rome tour bus. Galli presented the company’s tourism services, such as its tours of Italy and Vatican City, to the Mexican audience.
In conjunction with the presentation of its 2018 catalogue, Julià Travel also hosted a cocktail at the Spanish Tourism Office in Mexico. The evening provided an opportunity to present this year’s new line-up, like the programmes that combine museum visits with culinary activities, such as the tour of the Picasso Museum and the Born Market in Barcelona, and tours in the north of Spain. A highlight in Madrid is the tour of the tree museums (El Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía), the Don Quijote experience and the classic Madrid City Tour.
