Madrid, March 2024 – The Spanish Tourism Board announces the recent incorporation of Grupo Julià, a key player in tourism and sustainable mobility, as a Collaborating Company. With this addition, the Board further strengthens its position as a sectoral lobby promoting influential actions in favor of Spanish tourism.

With Grupo Julià, there are now 16 major tourism companies that have chosen to align their brand with the Spanish Tourism Board as Collaborating Companies. These new partnerships reinforce the spirit of cooperation that defines the Board and demonstrate its commitment to fostering a unified vision that drives the future of the sector.

Grupo Julià: Innovation and Sustainability in Mobility

With over 90 years of experience in the sector, Grupo Julià is positioned as one of the leading Spanish business groups specializing in global tourism services and sustainable mobility, with a presence in eight countries and more than 12 million clients worldwide. Throughout its trajectory, the company has maintained a business vision based on three fundamental pillars: customer safety, service quality, and continuous innovation.

The company is structured into three main divisions:

  • The Tourism Division – through its brands Julià Tours, Julià Travel, This is Med, City Sailing, and Julià Tours & Tickets – covers essential tourism services such as tour operations and inbound tourism services, among others.

Among the company’s latest operations, key highlights include the award of the urban transport line between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Barcelona, the partnership with the UK’s largest bus operator to lead the sightseeing bus market in London, the acquisition of the This is Med brand for yacht rentals and corporate event organization in Barcelona, Costa Brava, and the Balearic Islands, as well as the purchase of Autocares Padrós.
