Julià Travel World Wide, an incoming tourism company belonging to the Grupo Julià, has signed a collaboration agreement with Amadeus Travel IMS to develop a technological platform that will provide multi-channel access to all its products for its 12 million plus clients, including travel agencies and tour operators around the world.
The agreement was signed by Daniel Alonso, CEO of Grupo Julià, and Christian Boutin, CEO of Amadeus Travel IMS, at the Fitur International Tourism Fair.
The platform will also allow content from third parties to be added to the company’s own offerings, thus complementing the catalogue of products and services offered by Julià.
Over 100 Amadeus Travel IMS professionals, mostly computer technicians and systems engineers specialized in tourism products and services, will be involved in developing the project, the first phase of which will be completed soon.
For Daniel Alonso, signing this agreement will make it possible to manage products with much greater ease, adapted to current needs and in-demand items such as the display of multi-currency pricing or the incorporation of dynamic pricing, among other novelties.
He noted that this tool will enable the group to expand in the strategy set for the incoming tourism division.
