Grupo Julià hires David González Deltell as its new Director of International Expansion. The directors of the group have created this post with the aim of projecting into foreign markets the group brands that are capable of generating new business opportunities.David González will be the person responsible for business prospecting for the different divisions of the group (passenger transport, tourist services and tourist bus) in international markets. Grupo Julià already has business units in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Andorra and aims to increase its presence in the medium term in Latin America, the United States, North Africa and the Far East. The international side of the business already accounts for 57% of the group’s turnover and serves more than 2 million users and clients each year.David González has a degree in business management from the Instituto Químico de Sarrià, Ramon Llull University and an international business diploma from London Metropolitan University. Until now, he has worked in The Eat Out Group (Agrolimen Group) as director of the company’s international department and, before that, he spent five years as international area manager.The creation of the position of director of international expansion is part of the process of professionalization begun in 2004 by José F. Adell, the managing director of Grupo Julià, which has facilitated the growth and internationalization of the company in recent years.
